French Toast

Ingredients:

  • 4 slices of thick bread
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Butter for cooking
  • Maple syrup and toppings (optional)

Steps:

  1. In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
  2. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a small amount of butter.
  3. Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, coating both sides.
  4. Place the bread on the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
  5. Serve warm with maple syrup, powdered sugar, or your favorite toppings.
